Production Associate (Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support continuously running production lines through material sampling, equipment monitoring, material movement, and HMI operations.
• Operate and train on shredding, milling, screening, separation, packaging, conveyance, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and move materials between receiving, production, processing, packaging, storage, and shipping areas.
• Receive inbound batteries, raw materials, packaging supplies, maintenance parts, and engineering equipment.
• Verify labels, quantities, weights, lot information, documentation, and inventory transactions in warehouse and manufacturing tracking systems.
• Support startups, shutdowns, changeovers, inspections, inventory audits, quality control, and containment of nonconforming materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, recycling, material processing, or another industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, hazardous-material requirements, and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using HMIs, tablets, warehouse-management systems, or production-tracking software.
• Ability to work in required PPE, complete respiratory fit testing and medical evaluation, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work varying or rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Nice to have

• Experience operating production or material-handling equipment and powered industrial trucks.
• HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or other specialized machinery.
