Intern-Engineering (Software Development)

What you will do

• Assist experienced engineers with designing, developing, testing, and debugging software components and APIs.
• Support enhancements to web-based management software for enterprise and data center storage applications.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile development activities.
• Troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to bug fixes and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, test, and other engineering teams on complete product solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code while learning development tools and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Coursework, academic projects, or internship experience in software development.
• Working knowledge of one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, version control, object-oriented programming, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in Linux or Windows development environments and learn new tools and technologies.

Nice to have

• Exposure to web technologies, APIs, JSON/XML, or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with software testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, or automation tools such as Jenkins.
• Interest in enterprise storage, embedded systems, or management software applications.
