Senior Software Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy software for command-and-control products.
• Build technologies supporting situational awareness and a single integrated air picture for warfighters.
• Analyze and resolve issues identified during customer testing and scenario runs.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and complex system design.
• Evaluate and implement practices that improve software quality and development efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating across teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance and access required facilities.
• 5–15 years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive programming experience with C and C++.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithm design, data structures, Linux, and Windows development environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, YAML, Bash, or Ada.
• Prior experience with air and missile defense systems.
• Experience leading small- to medium-sized software development projects.
