Sr. Subject Matter Expert - Implementations (SaaS)

What you will do

• Identify value-added professional services opportunities with existing clients in collaboration with Client Services and Clearwater leadership.
• Deliver client projects involving data integrations, general ledger rebuilds, accounting configuration changes, and bespoke reports.
• Analyze requirements and design solutions that account for project complexity and scale.
• Collaborate with Client Services, product management, development, global delivery, and R&D teams to improve change management and delivery timelines.
• Act as a trusted client advocate and advisor while establishing scalable, repeatable processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Clearwater Client Servicing and/or Onboarding teams.
• Advanced experience with general ledger systems, period-end close processes, and investment accounting policies.
• Experience in securities or financial markets, particularly alternative assets, and knowledge of at least one market or regulatory regime such as NAIC or Local GAAP.
• Knowledge of Clearwater platform data migration processes, including inbound and outbound feeds, cost basis file loads, and load parallels; strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CFA or CPA qualification.
