TL;DR
Senior Consultant (Energy and Natural Resources): Delivering strategic and commercial consulting projects across the energy, metals and mining, and natural resources sectors with an accent on advanced modelling, data analysis, and market intelligence. Focus on developing actionable client recommendations, presenting complex findings clearly, and solving challenging commercial and strategic problems.
Location: London or Edinburgh, United Kingdom; occasional travel may be required for client engagements.

What you will do
- Support strategic and commercial consulting engagements across energy, metals and mining, and natural resources.
- Conduct advanced modelling, data analysis, market assessment, and strategic evaluation using internal and external data sources.
- Develop clear, compelling client presentations, reports, and actionable recommendations.
- Own project workstreams, manage milestones and deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality analysis.
- Collaborate with project leaders, clients, subject matter experts, consulting, research, and commercial teams.
- Contribute to creative problem solving and the improvement of consulting methodologies and service offerings.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, commercial analysis, market intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Knowledge of metals and mining or broader natural resources, including industry dynamics, value chains, and energy-transition implications.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including data analysis, modelling, market assessment, and strategic evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and influence stakeholders.
- Commercial judgement, problem-solving ability, organisation, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
Nice to have
- Experience in market analysis, corporate strategy, market entry, valuation, or financial modelling within consulting or industry environments.
- Understanding of AI tools.
