Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the Washington, DC office
Annual base salary: $170,000–$185,000, plus a 17% annual bonus target.

What you will do
- Develop, implement, and execute government affairs and external relations strategies representing 's interests.
- Engage with semiconductor and electronics industry discussions, including trade policy and regulatory matters.
- Build relationships with politicians, industry groups, experts, and other external stakeholders.
- Advocate for laws and regulations that support 's businesses while mitigating unfavorable outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. political, legal, and regulatory developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with global external relations teams, internal stakeholders, and 's parent company.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in technology industry associations, government affairs, public policy, trade affairs, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree required; Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory processes, with strong interest in semiconductors and technology policy.
- Experience on Capitol Hill or at the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security is strongly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
Nice to have
- Japanese language skills.
- Project management experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, workplace productivity tools, and AI.
