Principal Product Manager

Location: Los Angeles; candidates within a reasonable commute to a hirify.global office must work in the office at least 3 days a week

Salary: $240,000–$301,000 per year, plus eligible short- and long-term incentive programs and benefits.

What you will do

• Guide products through the software development lifecycle from conception to launch.
• Own multi-year strategy and business outcomes for a major product area or portfolio.
• Develop and position solutions for new and existing enterprise customers across vertical, regional, and specialized markets.
• Build product vision and alignment with engineers, designers, marketers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Shape AI-assisted and automated workflows, including confidence thresholds and human-in-the-loop review.
• Use market insight, data, storytelling, and business cases to influence executive and board-level decisions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including major launches of highly scaled or 0-to-1 products.
• Experience owning strategy and business outcomes for a major product area or portfolio.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, and Pendo or similar product analytics platforms.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of financial close and record-to-report requirements, enterprise SaaS go-to-market, pricing, packaging, and financial modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience taking horizontal enterprise products into vertical, regional, or specialized markets.
• Working knowledge of accounting or finance.
• Experience building products within AI-native, agentic platforms and partnering with Data Science teams on machine learning capabilities.
