Corporate Counsel (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Dublin, Ireland, with an expectation of working from the office three days per week.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, partner, technology, and intra-group commercial agreements.
• Support disputes, claims, debt recovery, insolvency, and enforcement-related matters.
• Provide practical legal advice to commercial, product, risk, compliance, tax, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Support legal input on product, regulatory, operational, and strategic projects.
• Conduct legal research, horizon scanning, and briefings on legal and regulatory developments.
• Maintain legal templates, playbooks, trackers, corporate records, approvals, filings, and governance processes.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland, England and Wales, or another relevant common law jurisdiction.
• 0–3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong academic background and training in a reputable law firm, in-house legal team, or equivalent legal environment.
• Clear, concise, and practical communication skills, including the ability to explain legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
• Good judgement, attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative, proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working with international and cross-border stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to commercial contracts, corporate law, financial services, technology, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
