Technician (Robotics)

What you will do

• Fabricate and assemble aluminum extrusion work tables and fixtures.
• Set up, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot FDM 3D printers.
• Post-process 3D-printed parts through cleaning, support removal, finishing, and quality inspection.
• Solder PCBs, data and power connectors, and wire splices; build and organize wire harnesses.
• Read technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and debug or repair robotic systems.

Requirements

• Experience with power tools, including miter saws, band saws, and drill presses.
• Experience with FDM 3D printer setup, post-processing, and maintenance.
• Electrical harnessing, soldering, and crimping experience with connectors such as RJ45, Molex, and JST.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication skills and the independence to work across varied technical tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD, especially Onshape.
• Experience with SLA or other additive manufacturing technologies.
• Experience using manual mills or lathes.
• Basic software knowledge.
