What you will do

• Establish how AI initiatives are prioritized, staffed, coordinated, and delivered across departments.
• Set technical direction for GenAI and agentic systems, including prompts, context layers, tools, and production guardrails.
• Evaluate external GenAI tools, platforms, and vendors and make build-versus-buy decisions.
• Scale AI foundations for serving, retrieval, evaluation, observability, and reliability.
• Translate high-level vision into sequenced roadmaps, align resources with business priorities, and measure outcomes.
• Build AI governance and lead education initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years managing technical teams or individuals.
• 2+ years leading or driving GenAI initiatives with deep knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic systems, and modern AI tooling.
• Background in DevOps and product development.
• Experience owning ambiguous initiatives, scaling engineering or innovation groups, and partnering with platform engineering.
• Experience in global SaaS companies and fast-paced environments using agile methodologies.
• Experience in a regulated domain such as insurance, fintech, or healthcare is an advantage.
