TL;DR
Senior AI Engineer (GenAI): Designing, developing, and deploying production AI solutions using large language models, RAG architectures, and intelligent agent systems with an accent on scalable infrastructure, data engineering, and model performance. Focus on architecting distributed AI systems, fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs, and leading technical delivery across AI engineering initiatives.
Location: Cairo, Cairo Governorate, Egypt; hybrid workplace
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of AI models and GenAI solutions.
- Architect scalable AI systems and infrastructure for large-scale data processing and model training.
- Build production systems using LLMs, RAG architectures, vector search, embeddings, and agent-based frameworks.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, observability, and cost/performance optimization of AI solutions.
- Define AI strategy and roadmap with product managers and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior AI engineers and promote technical excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science, with a record of delivering complex projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience designing and deploying Generative AI systems using large language models.
- Expertise in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing, data engineering, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, vector search engines, embedding models, prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, evaluation, and observability.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Experience with multi-agent architectures, planning and execution agents, or tool-using LLMs.
- Contributions to open-source GenAI projects or applied LLM research.
