Organization Effectiveness & Design Lead (AI Transformation)

Location: Onsite at the San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters, with a secondary location at the Irvine Office, California

Salary: $164,000–$218,700 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain enterprise workforce planning models covering talent gaps, capability needs, workforce composition, and structural risks.
• Partner with HR business partners, finance, and business leaders to align headcount plans with strategy and growth projections.
• Lead organizational design engagements involving team restructuring, role clarification, spans of control, and organizational health analysis.
• Create standardized organizational design tools, templates, decision frameworks, AI adoption playbooks, and implementation guides.
• Assess workforce implications of AI-driven changes and document scalable organizational design practices.
• Build organizational design and workforce planning capabilities through training, coaching, and advisory support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in organizational design, workforce planning, or organizational development in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Hands-on experience leading or executing organizational design projects, including spans of control analysis, role clarification, and team restructuring.
• Ability to build and operationalize frameworks, tools, and playbooks for consistent use across an organization.
• Strong analytical skills with headcount, attrition, capability, and other workforce data.
• Ability to work onsite at the San Jose headquarters or Irvine office in California.

Nice to have

• MBA or PhD in Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience operationalizing AI tools or AI-driven change in HR or organizational development.
• Strategic management consulting experience.
• Familiarity with Galbraith Star Model, OrgVue, McKinsey 7S, workforce planning, or change management frameworks.
• Experience in the technology or semiconductor industry.
