Senior Manager, Investor Relations and Corporate Development (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States, with regular travel to the Utah pilot plant, partner sites, and investor meetings.

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Drive corporate development from market mapping and target identification through outreach, qualification, and prioritization.
• Evaluate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, off-take and power purchase opportunities, strategic investments, and acquisitions.
• Build valuation, returns, deal, scenario, capital structure, dilution, and downside-case models.
• Coordinate transaction diligence with internal teams, outside advisors, executives, and counsel.
• Support capital formation across equity, debt, project finance, government programs, and strategic capital.
• Own investor relations, including investor updates, the data room, CRM, fundraising materials, and board and investor packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in investment banking and/or management consulting serving energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience supporting transactions end-to-end, including M&A, joint ventures, project finance, off-take or commercial agreements, or private capital raises.
• Expert financial modeling and valuation skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to produce executive, board, and investor-ready materials under tight deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• In-house experience at a startup, high-growth company, corporate development, strategic finance, or investor relations function.
• Experience in nuclear, power generation, renewables, LNG, or large-scale industrial infrastructure.
• Experience with project finance and off-take structures for first-of-a-kind capital projects.
• Familiarity with federal energy funding, incentive programs, fundraising, and investor or board reporting.
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent, plus an established energy-sector investor and banking network.
