Diagnostic Evaluator - LCSW, LMFT, LPC - Contract/1099 (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland; hybrid work with onsite work at the assigned clinic at least 1 day per week. A minimum of 12 hours per week must be scheduled after 4:00pm ET on weekdays or during weekends.

What you will do

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations, including autism evaluations using tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, and CARS.
• Analyze assessment data and prepare clinically sound diagnostic conclusions, reports, progress notes, feedback, and recommendations.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Complete biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments and create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners, executive function coaches, speech therapists, families, caregivers, and outside providers.
• Manage diagnostic scheduling, documentation, productivity reporting, meetings, training, supervision, and weekly clinical service expectations.

Requirements

• Independent LCSW, LMFT, and LPC licensure in Maryland.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care model.
• Comfort managing complex schedules and balancing multiple clinical responsibilities.
• Ability to work onsite at least 1 day per week and schedule at least 12 weekly hours during after-school hours.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Familiarity with standardized diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, or CARS.
• Experience in integrated or team-based care environments.
