Facilities Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Carson City, Nevada, United States; onsite work across office and production facilities

hirify.global is building a localized battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and U.S. battery-materials production.

What you will do

• Maintain compressors, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Complete daily facility rounds, equipment checks, task lists, and work requests.
• Troubleshoot facilities issues and provide maintenance support for electrical and other systems.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and small construction equipment.
• Manage basic projects and oversee contractors and third-party work.
• Create basic facilities work instructions and collaborate with operations teams on growth and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience supporting maintenance or production organizations.
• Background in facilities or maintenance, with a basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems, maintain tools and equipment, and work independently across multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs and carry objects over 50 lbs up and down stairs.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and perform essential duties in accordance with applicable standards.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work across teams and disciplines.

Nice to have

• Experience with building automation, HVAC, electrical systems, compressors, generators, forklifts, or light construction.
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and small construction equipment.
• Leadership skills and experience driving actions across multiple stakeholders.
• Interest in sustainability and battery-materials innovation.
