Senior Backend Software Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Scale and optimize distributed systems powering link-modeling computations.
• Improve performance, parallelism, and reliability across heterogeneous compute environments.
• Migrate CPU-bound computational workloads to GPU-accelerated architectures.
• Optimize production-grade link-modeling algorithms using signal processing and linear algebra techniques.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain core software while managing project priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, Rust, or Java.
• Technical design and architecture leadership, taking projects from conception through production launch.
• Strong coding, problem-solving, system health, diagnosis, resolution, and software test development skills.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, distributed data systems, performance analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
