Intermediate Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: CA$120,000–CA$150,000 base salary per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build mobile-responsive, client-facing user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• Own frontend development across styling, responsiveness, performance, and reusable component creation.
• Develop product features such as pricing graphs, dynamic content pages, and email notification improvements.
• Collaborate with technical leaders, product designers, founders, and a small product team.
• Refactor and improve the codebase while adapting to shifting priorities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building interfaces with React.
• Professional experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with component libraries such as Chakra UI.
• Experience working with authenticated backend APIs.
• Ability to translate design mockups, including Figma designs, into implementation.
• Experience collaborating with product designers on UI/UX feedback and changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL APIs and Apollo Client.
• Experience with backend languages such as Elixir.
