Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Salary: $158,400–$237,600 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale software solutions that improve member health outcomes.
• Develop scalable, performant, and accessible account experiences for secure registration, sign-in, and feature access.
• Deliver major frontend projects and maintain key code repositories.
• Break down complex problems, resolve incident root causes, and improve feature maintainability, availability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on technical roadmaps and product capabilities.
• Integrate AI technologies, contribute to architecture and developer tooling, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of non-internship, full-time professional software development experience.
• Experience delivering large software projects or production features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with mobile app development and deployment lifecycles.
• Experience with cloud services, distributed systems, scalable architectures, or technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, gRPC, protobufs, and Temporal.

• Experience using AI technologies for software design and coding assistance.
• Experience mentoring or onboarding junior engineers.
• Experience in healthcare technology or regulated environments.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
