CNC Setup/Operator (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Avon, Ohio, United States; onsite shop-floor role

What you will do

• Complete setups on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Verify machine readiness and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Inspect parts against process routing documents and record results.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues with supervisors and quality personnel.
• Complete production documentation, perform equipment maintenance, and keep the work area organized.
• Perform manual deburring and follow quality management and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of CNC experience, including at least 1 year of setup experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficiency in drilling, milling, tapping, and operation of vertical and horizontal machines.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, basic mathematical skills, and inspection competence.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
