Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

hirify.global is building a global operating system for fintech and provides a payment platform for businesses processing transactions in-store and online.

What you will do

• Analyze customer needs and work with product management to define new payment services.
• Own the technical vision, implementation, infrastructure, and best practices within the assigned domain.
• Design, build, test, and continuously deliver software, infrastructure, and features to production.
• Improve architecture, frameworks, tooling, automation, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stable service delivery.
• Build relationships with product managers and engineers while mentoring junior software engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and building systems through multiple lifecycles.
• Extensive experience implementing secure APIs and highly available, observable services.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing production software.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior software engineers.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills across competing projects.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
