Software Engineer, Product (TypeScript/React/Go)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; hybrid role with travel to factory sites across the United States as needed. Applicants must be U.S. persons under ITAR.

Annual salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD.

What you will do

• Embed with headquarters and factory teams to observe operations and identify actual constraints.
• Interview production, quality, planning, supply chain, and engineering users and quantify process costs.
• Own product decisions, including scope, prioritization, sequencing, and determining what not to build.
• Build and deploy end-to-end software using TypeScript, React, Go, and supporting data models.
• Design clear interfaces and validate solutions with users through rapid prototypes and early releases.
• Drive adoption, iterate based on feedback, and harden successful prototypes or retire projects that do not justify continued investment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience shipping production full-stack software.
• Production experience with TypeScript and React.
• Backend service and API development in a typed language, with strong data modeling skills.
• Experience owning projects from problem discovery through deployment, adoption, and iteration.
• Comfort working directly with non-technical users, including on a factory floor.
• U.S. person status is required under ITAR, including U.S. citizenship, permanent residence, or protected-person status.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Python, SQL, ERP, MES, PLM, or other systems of record.
• Background in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, field operations, aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong interface design skills and experience building internal tools with demonstrated adoption.
• Startup or small-team experience with end-to-end product ownership.
