TL;DR
Senior Specialist, Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux and Classified Infrastructure): Maintaining secure classified Windows systems, network infrastructure, servers, databases, and end-user environments with an accent on system hardening, vulnerability management, and enterprise administration. Focus on building virtual and physical servers, automating deployments with scripts and Ansible, supporting backup and virtualization platforms, and meeting NIST RMF compliance requirements.
Location: Palm Bay, Florida, United States; onsite

What you will do
- Administer Microsoft Windows servers, client systems, backup systems, network infrastructure, and databases.
- Provide desktop and application support locally and across the classified WAN.
- Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows servers.
- Perform system updates, patching, hardening, and vulnerability management to support compliance.
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and communicate technical risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph required.
- Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens; eligibility to access classified information is required.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level domain environments is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Experience with Commvault or comparable enterprise backup systems.
- Experience with VMware or comparable virtualization platforms.
- Experience with Ansible and the NIST Risk Management Framework.
