Linux Systems Engineer (RHEL)

Location: On-site in Oahu, Hawaii, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide Linux and cybersecurity services for RHEL satellite servers.
• Operate and sustain systems across Army and Military Intelligence domain networks.
• Support on-premise infrastructure and Army Commercial Cloud Service Provider environments.
• Contribute to the operation, sustainment, and regulatory compliance of Army JWICS and MI Domains.
• Deliver RHEL services to INSCOM GISA as a Linux computer systems engineering and architecture subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance required before starting.
• On-site availability in Oahu, Hawaii is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or 15 years of related experience.
• Professional experience as a Red Hat Linux administrator.
• IAT Level III certification, such as CISSP or CASP, plus Computing Environment certification.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification and one additional cloud technology or scope-relevant certification.

Nice to have

• Team leadership and technical execution experience.
• Hands-on experience with systems engineering tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and task prioritization skills.
