Principal Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 USD per year for New York-based hires; ranges may differ for candidates working elsewhere.

What you will do

• Define the multi-year product strategy for the core lending network and own products from conception through launch and optimization.
• Lead high-throughput, low-latency enterprise APIs, developer tooling, documentation, sandboxes, and integration frameworks.
• Improve onboarding, data exchange, partner configuration, and integrations for banks, fintechs, and point-of-sale partners.
• Scale underwriting, decisioning, and capital allocation platforms in partnership with Engineering and Data Science.
• Translate machine learning models and credit decisioning workflows into scalable, resilient product features.
• Advise executive leadership, collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams, and strengthen product management operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive product management experience in fintech, high-growth B2B enterprise platforms, or consumer credit ecosystems.
• Experience with API development, enterprise platform integrations, and developer-facing software products.
• Technical fluency in API design, platform scalability, machine learning infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Ability to write product requirements, define system architectures, and lead cross-functional delivery without direct authority.
• Data-driven approach to prioritization, success metrics, performance tracking, and product iteration.
• Strong executive communication skills and ability to explain complex technical and financial concepts.
