Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

Location: Canada; remote for team members outside commuting distance of the Toronto office; hybrid for team members within commuting distance of Toronto

What you will do

• Build and evolve end-to-end product features across backend, frontend, and APIs.
• Partner with Product and Design to deliver simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions and make thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Own features in production, including iteration, reliability, and ongoing improvement.
• Contribute to shared engineering standards, tooling, and practices within an empowered product squad.

Requirements

• Experience building fullstack product features in a modern web environment.
• Comfort working across backend, frontend, and APIs, with depth varying by individual.
• Strong product and customer intuition, with ownership of production features.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Team members within commuting distance of Toronto are expected to work in a hybrid model; those farther away primarily work remotely with occasional travel to Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with AWS or fintech products.
