Senior Manager, Facilities (Battery Manufacturing)

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; travel to multiple U.S. sites is expected approximately 30% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead facilities strategy, day-to-day operations, safety, compliance, uptime, and site readiness.
• Oversee building systems, utilities, infrastructure, HVAC, lighting, grounds, and related equipment.
• Build and mentor the facilities team while managing contractors, priorities, and escalated issues.
• Manage capital and expense projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, contractor coordination, and quality.
• Lead commissioning, startup readiness, turnover planning, acceptance criteria, and operational handover for new and expanded facilities.
• Own documentation quality, CMMS readiness, facilities KPIs, energy efficiency, sustainability, and facility-operation safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in facilities, plant engineering, commissioning, maintenance, or related operations support in complex manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
• Experience leading facilities operations with a focus on safety, compliance, reliability, commissioning, startup, turnover, or operational readiness.
• Experience managing handover documentation from construction, design, OEMs, and contractors, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning reports, training records, warranties, spare parts, and asset data.
• Experience with capital projects, contractor management, cross-functional coordination, building management systems, facility controls, and maintenance planning.
• Ability to support site needs during occasional after-hours, weekend, on-call, shutdown, startup, and commissioning periods, and to work in office, industrial, construction, and outdoor environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in advanced manufacturing, battery, semiconductor, chemical processing, clean room, or other technically demanding industrial environments.
• Experience with CMMS asset setup, preventive maintenance development, large-scale facility expansions, utility systems, or complex project handovers.
• Experience working across facilities, construction, engineering, and operations teams in high-growth organizations.
