What you will do

  • Lead day-to-day facilities operations for an inverter manufacturing plant, including building systems, utilities, site services, and maintenance.
  • Maintain reliable electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water, fire protection, security, and other production-support systems.
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs and respond rapidly to facility issues affecting production uptime.
  • Manage facility budgets, operating expenses, service contracts, spare parts, and capital improvement projects.
  • Lead facilities technicians, maintenance personnel, contractors, and third-party service providers.
  • Support plant layout changes, equipment installations, production expansions, EHS compliance, emergency planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, construction management, industrial technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in facilities, plant maintenance, or industrial operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, electronics, automotive, power equipment, or another high-volume production environment.
  • Knowledge of plant utilities, building systems, maintenance practices, contractor management, budgets, vendors, and capital projects.
  • Understanding of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, building codes, fire protection, and environmental requirements.
  • Proficiency with CMMS, work order systems, Microsoft Office, and facilities reporting tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with inverters, power electronics, battery energy storage, solar, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting a new factory launch, production ramp-up, or major facility expansion.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, Arizona building codes, and environmental compliance.
  • CFM, FMP, PMP, OSHA 30, or similar certification.
