Senior Product Manager (Technical) | Forecasting & Planning

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY

Salary: $149,000–$165,500 per year in New York

What you will do

• Own and evolve store planning and simulation systems that convert demand forecasts into DC-to-store replenishment and store ordering decisions.
• Track planning-driven in-stock and waste metrics, establish baseline forecasts or heuristics, and quantify system performance.
• Analyze system behavior across stores and SKU groups, including cold-start products, and identify root causes and development priorities.
• Set the roadmap for the planning domain and translate proof-of-concept findings into product and technical requirements.
• Build analytical POCs using SQL or Python to test replenishment logic, heuristics, and modeling approaches.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain Operations, and Analytics to guide scalable solutions and communicate trade-offs.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management, Applied Analytics, or Supply Chain development.
• Meaningful experience with planning and replenishment systems and accountability for operational results.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data and models in complex technical domains.
• Strong understanding of forecasting and ordering logic, ideally in food, perishables, or other constrained supply chains.
• Strong SQL skills and experience evaluating performance at scale with BigQuery, GCP, and Looker.
• Ability to build SQL- or Python-based POCs and guide production-ready implementation.
