Robot Delivery Technician (Robotics)

hirify.global is launching a robot delivery service in London and the UK, operating a fleet of delivery robots.

What you will do

• Prepare, inspect, assemble, maintain, and repair delivery robots before and during shifts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Deploy and support robot fleets across active markets.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to test new functionalities and optimize performance.
• Track recurring issues, log performance data, and contribute feedback for hardware improvements.
• Ensure robots meet safety and operational standards before deployment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical experience in diagnostics, repair, or maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in robotics, electronics, bike shops, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to lift 20 kg.
• Ability to work on-site in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Relevant technical qualification, apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with semi-autonomous robotic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and performance tracking.
• Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets for reporting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
