What you will do

• Deliver high-quality C/C++ code for embedded Ring devices.
• Design and implement embedded subsystem functionality and behaviors.

• Collaborate with applied science, software, and electronics engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, influencing architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C++, Java, or C# with object-oriented design.
• Professional software development experience within the last 3 years.
• Experience in robotics design, automation systems, or control systems development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
