What you will do

• Develop high-quality C/C++ software for Ring devices.
• Specify, design, and implement functionality for embedded subsystems.
• Implement advanced control algorithms for autonomous systems.
• Collaborate with applied science, software, and electronics engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence architecture and development best practices.

Requirements

• Professional, non-internship software development experience using a modern programming language such as C++, Java, or C#.
• Experience with object-oriented design and leading the architecture and design of reliable, scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Recent software development experience within the last three years.
• Experience in robotics, automation systems, control systems, or related product development.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
