Field Robotics Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Oxford area with intense business travel, mostly in the Oxford–London corridor; international customer-site travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the technical execution of customer deployment projects from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate end-to-end technical planning, deployment activities, and follow-up with Operations.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Set up, commission, test, and provide hands-on technical support for robotic systems.
• Generate performance reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reliability and performance issues.
• Improve deployment processes, tooling, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience deploying, integrating, and debugging robotic software systems.
• Experience with the ROS ecosystem and solid Linux proficiency.
• Fluency with Git or another version control system.
• Good programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, including internationally, and a valid Category B driving licence.
