Technical Support Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from the United Kingdom; Home Office in Belfast

Salary: £42,000–£49,000 base salary annually, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Provide post-sale technical support to customers and partners.
• Assess, document, investigate, and reproduce reported customer issues.
• Gather relevant information and resources to troubleshoot technical cases.
• Formulate and communicate resolution plans and clear customer responses.
• Document corrective actions and support production escalations.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in technical support or an equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of IT and system administration, networking, data transport, and encryption.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, machine and network virtualization, and security concepts and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, deconstruct problems, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Organized, reliable, self-motivated, and accountable, with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Relational database and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with .NET applications.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in multiple languages.
• Prior or current security clearance.
