Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - 1099 Contractor - Pennsylvania

Location: Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid role requiring office space to see clients in Pennsylvania and full-time residence in the United States.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management through intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans and provide longitudinal medication treatment.
• Document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide culturally responsive care to children, teens, and young adults with diverse needs and levels of clinical complexity.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited PMHNP program, or an accredited PA program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted state license.
• Have at least 2 years of professional practice experience.
• Be a full-time resident of the United States and have office space to see clients in Pennsylvania.
• Be able to treat patients across a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.
• Active DEA licensure, additional psychiatry certification, and experience treating minors are preferred.

Nice to have

• Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, or another academic psychiatry certificate.
• Doctor of Medical Science degree with a psychiatry concentration.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
