Vulnerability and Remediation Lead (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across IT systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement strategies and procedures to mitigate or eliminate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of vulnerability management efforts.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and efficiently.
• Communicate vulnerability management updates and proposed solutions to stakeholders and management.
• Maintain and update vulnerability management policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management best practices and technologies, including vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or another relevant security certification.
• Prior experience in a financial services organization.
