What you will do
- Evaluate, test, recommend, and implement security solutions aligned with enterprise standards and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor complex systems and respond to known and emerging threats using intrusion detection and prevention technologies.
- Investigate security events by analyzing logs, correlating feeds, and triaging incidents across diverse environments.
- Design and configure proxies, remote access systems, mail gateways, intrusion prevention, wireless security, DLP, SIEM, and web application firewalls.
- Develop threat models, perform risk assessments, and conduct compliance audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on endpoint security experience, including EDR, SIEM, database activity monitoring, encryption, DLP, asset discovery, file integrity monitoring, and application control.
- Experience with network operations, engineering, or system administration across Unix, Linux, macOS, or Windows environments.
- Background in security operations, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and antivirus log analysis.
- Familiarity with PCI, SOX, GLBA, and other security compliance programs.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud platforms, including endpoint security deployment and integration.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, Network+, or Security+.
- Strong knowledge of CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, and cloud security standards.
