Senior IT Risk Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee IT risk and issue management activities, including risk assessments across applications, processes, systems, and technology components.
• Help develop the IT risk assessment roadmap, identify emerging threats and control gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders on remediation plans.
• Maintain the centralized IT risk management repository, including compliance, conformance, quantified risks, and mitigation measures.
• Prepare business-unit, executive, and Board-level IT risk reporting and governance presentations.
• Review technology and cybersecurity controls against company policies and industry frameworks, including NIST, PCI DSS, and CIS.
• Communicate assessment findings and technical risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of related professional experience.
• Strong technical skills or technical aptitude, analytical ability, communication, presentation, and multitasking skills.
• Experience preparing risk and control matrices, assessment materials, executive reporting, and governance presentations.
• Ability to assess technology and cybersecurity processes and controls against organizational policies and industry standards.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Payment or technology industry experience, including prior hirify.global experience.
• Certifications such as PCIP, SSCP, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, or GRCP.
