Senior Software Developer (AWS)

hirify.global provides a subscription commerce platform for selling digital products and services across channels and devices. The Tackle business unit helps software companies manage cloud go-to-market, co-selling, and marketplace transactions through AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft.

What you will do

• Build resilient, performant, scalable, testable, and maintainable backend services and multi-tier applications.
• Solve high-scope technical problems and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Own software development from implementation through production support.
• Participate in thorough code reviews and help guide technical direction.
• Drive the apprenticeship program and mentor new and less experienced team members.
• Collaborate across distributed development teams using asynchronous communication.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience building modern, scalable, high-performing backend services.
• Professional experience deploying applications and managed services in AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar frameworks.
• Advanced DynamoDB data modeling, including Single Table Design, and strong knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and understanding microservice and event-driven design, ideally with Amazon EventBridge.
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and technical decision-making skills in a hybrid environment.
