Golang Senior Application Developer

What you will do

• Design and develop complex, enterprise-scale mobile applications integrating multiple backend systems.
• Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities, including technical infrastructure design, database and programming language selection, utilities, and testing approaches.
• Lead the design and development of cost-effective, innovative application solutions.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals.
• Lead complex projects involving backend systems, emerging technologies, and enhancements to existing applications.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned projects and provide technical direction to development teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Golang development using microservice architecture.
• Experience with end-to-end application security, code quality, and governance.
• 1–2 years of agentic software development using tools such as Copilot, Claude CLI, or Cursor.
• Experience leading and mentoring a development team and providing technical direction and guidance.
• Strong working knowledge of Test-Driven Development, including writing and maintaining comprehensive unit test suites.
• Experience with static code analysis and security/vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk and SonarQube.
• Strong knowledge of clean code principles and software development best practices, with the ability to champion these standards across the team.
• Awareness of and genuine interest in AI-assisted or AI-driven software development tools and practices.
• Ability to embrace change, collaborate, adapt to emerging technologies, and contribute to collective success.
