Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid role)

Salary: $135,000–$165,000

What you will do

• Communicate and lead technical discussions, demos, and documentation for the AI team.
• Design and develop scalable APIs and applications for the hirify.global Platform and Agent Mesh.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate features across message routers and applications.
• Analyze and tune applications for optimal performance in high-throughput environments.
• Maintain automated tests and CI/CD integration pipelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in building production-grade backend services using Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with React frontend applications.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like MySQL or ElasticSearch.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and SaaS.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and brokers like hirify.global, Kafka, or SNS.
• Experience with microservices design patterns.
