Software Developer - Risk Reliability

hirify.global develops and operates risk software systems for position management, profit and loss computation, inventory and locate management, and internal order routing.

What you will do

• Build firm-wide platforms that extend observability and prevent functional and performance regressions.
• Develop self-serve automation for system configuration changes through a Jira portal.
• Implement domain-specific risk logic for relevant sub-teams.
• Provide Level-2 support through a daily support rota, averaging one duty day per week.
• Manage incidents, perform root cause analyses, and raise remedial actions.
• Handle system configuration updates and historical database corrections until these workflows are automated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, software reliability, or a similar role, including software development and Level-2 support.
• Professional experience developing in Python and using version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing automation tools and implementing configuration management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or AMPS.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Slurm.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or KDB/q.
