Senior Python Developer, Risk Technology, Mexico City

Location: Mexico City; hybrid work with office attendance required at least 1 day per week

What you will do

• Develop scalable Python microservices for processing data streams through messaging, streaming, and REST technologies.
• Design and integrate solutions for market and credit counterparty risk platforms.
• Build cloud-native applications and deploy them in AWS environments.
• Architect solutions using Consul, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, SQL, MongoDB, and key-value stores.
• Implement asynchronous operations, multithreading, multiprocessing, and high-performance APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and maintain consistent deployment processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience with complex applications.
• Advanced Python expertise, including asynchronous operations, object-oriented and functional programming, context managers, decorators, and descriptors.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native applications, microservices architecture, data modeling, and API development.
• Experience in capital markets and asset classes.
• Knowledge of Consul, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, SQL, MongoDB, or key-value stores.
• Excellent spoken and written English at C1+ level; office attendance in Mexico City is required at least 1 day per week.
