System Software Engineer – Lead Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of the software stack for autonomous driving silicon and systems.
• Develop and oversee boot, security, safety, drivers, operating systems, middleware, OTA, and application layers.
• Optimize system performance from hardware through software and collaborate with algorithm teams on optimization challenges.
• Debug systems at board and silicon level using appropriate probing hardware.
• Communicate and collaborate with peers across organizations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of significant software and product experience in SoC system software design and optimization.
• Expertise in OS kernel optimization and real-time development, with deep knowledge of QNX or Linux kernels.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and extensive experience with BSPs and drivers for sophisticated automotive or embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU architecture, ARM/RISC-V/MIPS processors, ISA, memory subsystems, coherency, AI/ML architecture, and security.
• English and Mandarin communication skills are required.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous driving or AUTOSAR / ISO 26262.
