What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy middleware frameworks for autonomous driving systems.
- Build real-time communication and execution frameworks, foundational libraries, and distributed software for Linux and RTOS platforms.
- Design software in accordance with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262.
- Develop tools for debugging, testing, and validation across the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to design and code reviews and support middleware integration with application and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 or equivalent middleware frameworks for automotive or robotics systems.
- Experience developing middleware and software frameworks, including strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with Linux or RTOS software development and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Lua.
- Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle and ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments.
- 10+ years of production-grade software development experience, including automotive or related industry experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with DDS, TCP/IP, SOME/IP, or DoIP communication protocols.
- Experience building CI/CD or automated software pipelines.
- Experience with Yocto, CMake, or Make Linux build systems.
- Rust programming experience.
