Solutions Engineer - Enterprise

Location: Remote position requiring residence in San Francisco, California or the San Jose area.

Salary: $160,000–$260,000 annual pay including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
• Identify technology opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services areas.
• Build technical relationhirify.globalps with OEMs and strategic partners and maintain current product knowledge.
• Train sales teams and customers on products, services, technical selling, and technology trends.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline and engage with CIOs, IT directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role and a completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• Experience with complex data center sales opportunities.
• Ability to design infrastructures involving hybrid cloud, hyperconverged systems, software-defined data centers, IaaS/PaaS, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
• Knowledge of Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, backup and recovery, data protection, mirroring, and clustering; ability to travel to company, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, or Nutanix.
