Solutions Engineer - Enterprise (Data Center/Cloud)

Location: Remote, but required to reside in San Francisco, California or the San Jose area; travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events is required.

Estimated annual pay range: $160,000–$260,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
• Build technical relationhirify.globalps with OEMs and strategic partners and maintain current product knowledge.
• Train sales teams and customers on products, services, technical selling, and technology trends.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor while engaging CIOs, IT directors, CTOs, and other client contacts.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline, develop strategies for top prospects, acquire new business, and identify opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services.

Requirements

• Experience working in complex data center sales opportunities.
• Ability to design data center infrastructures involving hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure, software-defined data centers, infrastructure or platform as a service, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
• Expertise in mainstream technologies including Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions, including backup and recovery, data protection, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, and clustering.
• Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events.
