Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Bring up new and existing PCBs through power-on, validation, programming, and board-level root-cause analysis.
• Integrate sensors, compute, and actuators on the bench and final robotic platform using UART, SPI, I²C, USB, and CAN.
• Evaluate EVKs and development kits, build simple test setups, and report data to support hardware decisions.
• Use Altium for schematic capture, small design changes, breakout and adapter board spins, and layout reviews.
• Plan and run laboratory tests with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, loads, and other measurement equipment.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, and Systems engineers to resolve system-level electronics issues.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience, including projects and internships.
• Hands-on experience bringing up custom PCBs or complex development boards.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer, including schematics, basic layout or review, BOMs, Gerbers, and assembly files.
• Working knowledge of microcontrollers or SoCs, power regulators, basic analog circuits, and level shifting.
• Practical experience with UART, SPI, I²C, and at least one of USB or CAN, plus laboratory equipment and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating cameras, radar, lidar, IMUs, GNSS, or other sensors and compute for robotics or autonomy.
• Basic C or C++ embedded firmware skills for board bring-up and hardware testing.
