Design Verification Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas or Palo Alto, California

Salary: $120,000–$225,000+ annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on system-level and block-level verification of custom AI processor designs.
• Develop test plans, coverage plans, testbenches, and verification infrastructure.
• Build and execute verification environments using UVM and other advanced methodologies.
• Use architecture models and emulation environments to verify large AI network functionality.
• Collaborate with RTL design, architecture modeling, analog IP, compiler, emulation, and post-silicon teams.
• Apply simulation, modeling, and creative verification strategies to validate system correctness and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of industry experience developing verification testbenches.
• Knowledge of verification methodologies and computer architecture.
• Understanding of Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
• Proven track record of first-pass silicon success.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
