Principal Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: USD 185,00–USD 240,000 base salary annually

What you will do

• Lead and develop next-generation high-speed, high-performance, low-power semiconductor products in advanced process nodes.
• Drive post-silicon product development for high-speed I/O products through product test and validation.
• Update and roll out ATE test programs for wafer sort and final test solutions.
• Monitor ATE test yields, test time, device quality, and manufacturing readiness.
• Perform system-level analysis using test hardware, test programs, and devices under test.
• Support product and package qualification and collaborate with silicon validation teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in post-silicon product development involving high-speed I/O product testing or validation.
• Experience completing at least one full product development lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with the Advantest 93k ATE platform or a similar platform, including wafer sort and final test programs.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, ATE, test programs, and system-level problem solving.
• Experience with product and package qualification, data analysis, and tools such as JMP or Spotfire.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NRZ/PAM4 SerDes protocols, including PCIe Gen3+ and Ethernet 25G+, or LPDDR5/4 memory interfaces.
• Experience working with silicon validation teams to meet production requirements.
• Firmware development in C/C++ or scripting in Python.
