Controls Engineer (IoT)

Location: Bangalore, India. Full-time role with approximately 10% travel; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Design or modify electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis and generate test reports and product-release documentation.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of electrical and electronic components and equipment.
• Identify sources of critical parts and subsystems and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems and implement product solutions.
• Support product specifications, customer field issues, supplier interactions, and technical communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, including ADCs, DACs, op-amps, transistors, MOSFETs, sensors, and signal-conditioning circuits.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers or microprocessors, memories, communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS485, and Ethernet, and IoT platforms.
• Hands-on experience with DSO, DMM, function generators, electronic loads, circuit validation, board bring-up, functional testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.

• Understanding of key industry business drivers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex information.
• Experience with obsolescence processes, customer support for field issues, and supplier coordination.
