Location: Monrovia, CA, United States; full-time onsite

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Review scientific literature to understand therapeutic targets and relevant immune biology.
• Design cellular experiments to confirm the mechanism of action of small-molecule hits from binding and virtual screens.
• Develop, optimize, and run cell-based assays to profile on-target and off-target activity.
• Adapt assays for medium- to high-throughput screening, dose-response analysis, and IC50 generation.
• Manage CROs supporting reagent development and in vitro testing.
• Analyze experimental data, communicate findings, and represent immunology in multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• PhD in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field with 3+ years of small-molecule drug discovery experience, or an MSc with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of immunology and immune signaling pathways.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cell culture and cell-based assays, including reporter assays, flow cytometry, qPCR, RNAseq, Luminex, MSD, ELISA, Western blotting, and intracellular techniques.
• Proficiency in primary cell isolation, differentiation, culture, and flow cytometry.
• Experience establishing robust small-molecule dose-response assays and generating IC50 data.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and collaborative research skills.
