Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services, primarily on Azure.
• Support AWS infrastructure and multi-cloud initiatives.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and integrate cloud services and automation into CI/CD workflows.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including AKS and/or EKS.
• Develop automation with Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and tracing.
• Participate in incident response, security and compliance initiatives, disaster recovery, capacity planning, cost optimization, and continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, with experience supporting production cloud environments and multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud networking, identity and access management, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege security.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana, plus strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
• Fluent written and oral English is required. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Deep AWS experience and hands-on work with AKS and/or EKS.
• Familiarity with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, disaster recovery, backup, and compliance practices.
